Cherry is the miracle child. When the litter plans were made, her breeder and our long time friend, Tímea Sólyom of By The Lake Border Collies has contacted us if we’d accept her pick female of this litter if she was born…! Needless to say, we were stunned, shocked, excited and mortified at the same time. This was the litter that literally half the world of Border Collies were looking forward to and we’ve been just given the opportunity to receive the most valuable puppy from it! Cherry’s dam is 2015 World Winner Breaking Dawn By The Lake “Kendra” so as you can imagine we have pretty big shoes to fill… We have great plans for this girl, her future has already been laid out for the most part, now to execute the plans one by one. She’s sailed through her first year in showing, quickly finishing her Championship with 3 majors. She’s currently doing “the fun stuff” i.e. herding and lure coursing.
